Unknown bank account appearing in Management Report, but not in RFMS program.

Error:

Cause:Converting from version 9/DOS to version 10 might carry over an old bank account that is no longer in use and show on the management report. This bank account may show a balance, not on the journal, just on the management report.

Solution:

Using SQL Studio, look at the tables. It will show all the CK accounts as shown in the screen shot below. Make note of all the checking accounts in accounting, banking and compare them to the CK accounts you see in SQL. There will be a CK### table in SQL that is not in the list of checking accounts actually used. Be sure to check the chart of accounts for that account also. If it is not in either place Type in the following command to delete it.

DROP TABLE CK####. (Be sure to type in the actual numbers)
