Cause:
Solution:
- Sales tax collected is pulled from the header of the customers order, this amount is what the customer actual paid.
- Sales Tax Due is what RFMS has calculated based off of the set up in store codes and city list.
Details:
Sales Tax Due is based off the selection in the store codes and city file.
NOTE: To check the sales tax setting, go to Order Entry, File, Stores and Cities.
Sales Tax collected is the amount on the customers order in the header.
TIP: If the amounts for these are different on the Sales Tax report, sales tax was changed on the order.
EXAMPLE: The sales tax for the order above is $500, same order header now shows $300. When viewing the Sales Tax Report below the sales tax collected shows $300 and sales tax due is $500.
