How to: Use the Add / View Journal Utility

Accounting>Utilities>G/L Utilities

The following dialog will appear:

After entering the correct access code, the following screen will display:

CAUTION: Using any of the three functions can cause dire effects in your journal. The primary function of this utility is to correct a journal that has gone out of balance by some external event such as a system failure during a posting.

Detail can then be added, edited or removed.

This utility can also be used to search for invalid records.

Clicking on the above icon will open the following dialog:
