Integration of Estimated Delivery Date between Order Entry and Schedule Pro

 

Utilities>System Options>System Wide>Order Entry

Category-Prompts

Type- Can be Global, Assigned, or User

Estimated Delivery Date prompt field is user-defined.

This field appears just below the Measure Date Prompt field.  This is a date only field.
(Some prefer to call it ‘Est Install Date’)

As seen above, the system options have to be set as follows:
(It is not necessary to set all line statuses to update)


>Automatically Post Estimated Delivery Dates in Order Header and Lines > No
>Base Schedule Pro install Date on the Order Header Estimated Delivery Date > Yes
>Update Estimated Delivery Date with the Status of Cut > Yes
>Update Estimated Delivery Date with the Status of Delivered > Yes
>Update Estimated Delivery Date with the Status of GenPO > Yes
>Update Estimated Delivery Date with the Status of None > Yes
>Update Estimated Delivery Date with the Status of On Order > Yes
>Update Estimated Delivery Date with the Status of Reserved > Yes
>Update the Order Header Estimated Delivery Date > Yes – Use Order Entry Lines and Schedule Pro Temporary Lines
>Update the Order Line Estimated Delivery Date > Yes – Update Order Entry Lines
>Overwrite Header EstDel Date with Blank Date or Past Date > No


Once these options are set, schedule the job in Schedule Pro. Then go back to Order Entry to verify that Est Install Date updated on the lines.


The order header Est Del Date will be based on the line
