Sick, Vacation, Holiday on the Prepare Pay screen

Set up the System Option-Set Up Leave Specifications (Sick, Vacation, Holiday, Other)

Sick Hours, Vacation Days, Holiday Days, or Other Leave can be figured on the Prepare Pay screen.  

When first going into the Prepare Pay screen the Time Off values will be blank.

Sick Hours, Vacation Days, Holiday Days, and Other Leave can be added in the Earnings fields.  Press F8 and select the the Time Off need.

On the Earning Type screen, select Earnings Type and Enter Days Off.  

Sick Hours, Vacation Days, Holiday Days, and Other Leave can also be entered as negative numbers adding to the remaining balance of these Days Off.

Under the Days Off section, the remaining number of days for the earnings type selected is displayed.

If the worker has used all of his allowed days, it will be written in red.

If an employee is an hourly worker, the option to Calculate Hourly Pay will be available.  This means that it will add the Earning Type field and the hours to the Earnings area.  It will not automatically deduct from the Reg. Hours.

If the employee is not an hourly worker, the option to Calculate Hourly Pay will be grayed out.

If Clear Earnings Line is checked, then no line will appear under the Earnings field but the Time Off totals will still be updated.

The Time Off will not be posted until the payroll clerk presses the Pay button payroll3.gif and the payroll is processed. Once processed, the numbers all return to zero. If the pay is not process, the numbers will remain until the next payroll.
