Estimation Measurement Copy results rely on system option "Item Products Size (Width X Length)"

RFMS allows the copying of item product sizes from the Product Information 1 Tab in Products to Extended Information 2 Tab.  This second tab is used by Measure and Measure Mobile to determine the size of items used in the projects.  To utilize this function, go to Products > Utilities > Estimation Measurement Copy

The Estimation Measurement Copy utility now has two options:

• Overwrite: Will update and overwrite all data in the Extended Information 2 window (even if there is an existing value).
• Do Not Overwrite: Will only update records where no data exists in the Extended Information 2 window.

NOTE: Running the Estimation Measurement Copy (EMC) varies based on the System Option “Item Products Size (Width X Length)”

To find this System Option please go to Products > Utilities >System Options >Admin System Options.  Search the word SIZE:

If both Manual and E-Commerce/Gateway records need to be updated, then users must have the System Option set to “Display Size in Feet + Inches”.  If the option is set to “Display Size as Entered” the it WILL NOT COPY over the measurements for Manual or Imported records because Measure is expecting Feet and Inches.

System Option users set to “Display Size as Entered” receive the following message when running the EMC Utility:

Only E-Commerce and Gateway records will be updated or overwritten. Manual and Imported records will NOT be run.
