Exciting Changes in Accounting 24.3!

Cyncly is pleased to announce a significant enhancement in the 3rd quarter update, specifically designed to improve the user experience and operational efficiency of banking in RFMS.  The most notable change is the shift to Date and Chronological sequence entry for transactions in the check register.  This modification brings several important advantages, including:

  • Post-Dating AP Checks: Users can post-date Accounts Payable (AP) checks into future months seamlessly.
  • Uninterrupted Check Register: Users can post Bank Charges, Deposits, Checks, and Transfers into future months without locking the register, enhancing workflow efficiency.
  • Postings by Month/Date: Out-of-period postings will appear according to their respective month and date, reducing errors and improving reconciliation.
  • Online/Transfer Register: Multiple online payment processing during flagged payables no longer requires an Online/Transfer Register. The Online or EFT can post directly to the Source Register.

Note: In prior versions, Postdating HR Checks OR other transactions inside a register would result in the following message and the register became locked until the arrival of the first day of the month that this transaction was posted.

This change now lists Transfers as "TX IN" and "TX OUT" in the Banking and Reconciliation screens.

There are also no longer restrictions on Check Dates into the future from Human Resources.
