This Screen Can Do So Much More - Look for the Tabs

On many RFMS screens, other options are available if you click on the additional tabs.  Some of the tabs are called Additional Info, and others are named for the information they share.

These tabs are sometimes not used or looked at due to not being the first information that pulls up on a screen.

With this article, I wanted to give you an idea of where some of these tabs are and point out the information they share.

Customer Orders

Additonal Info Tab2019-06-12_9-01-00.jpg

The top half of the page has four new fields that have drop-down menus attached to them. These fields are Ad Source, Order Type, Contract Type, and Service Offering.  Change these field names from Utilities>System Options>Order Entry>Order Entry> (Contract Type Prompt or Order Type Prompt or Service Type Prompt). What you input on this screen will display on the customer order. The only field that you cannot change is Ad Source.

These fields are included on the Quote Information Report, the Sales Information report, the Job Cost Analysis report, and the Materials Analysis .csv export.

Hold Info

This tab is another place that Hold Type can be set.  For more information on Holds, click here.

On the Roll and Item Find Screens, there is an Additional Parameters tab.  This tab allows you to filter the products by things such as size, price, cost, displays, and samples.

The most important thing about the More Parameters tabs is it might be the answer to why the message No Records Met Criteria pops up.  Always make sure there are selections made on the more parameters options.

The fields from the Additional Info tab in Order Entry are on this tab.  Some other included areas are Collection, Manufacturer, and Received Date.

These are not the only places where additional tabs are located in RFMS.  So, next time you look at a screen, make sure you are not missing any extra tabs that could be used to make your business run smoothier and more efficient.
